FlexiCheck
An automated drawing checking and correction technology
FlexiCheck was developed as a preprocessing system for the automated 2D to 3D conversion software, FlexiDesign. Even the best quality 2D drawings today have numerous inaccuracies and ambiguities that human beings cannot detect easily. However, these errors can mislead the automated 2D to 3D conversion algorithms that relies on precise and accurate input data. FlexiCheck is currently embedded in FlexiDesign and will soon be available as a separate ASP on www.2DHealer.com .

  • The following errors are detected and corrected by FlexiCheck:
    • Overlapping lines, arcs and circles
    • Duplicate lines, arcs and circles
    • Freefloating/stray lines and arcs
    • Dangling/disconnected lines and arcs
    • Crisscrossing lines and arcs
    • Near zero length lines and arcs
    • Recombination of broken lines, arcs and circles
    • Curve fitting polylines
  • In addition, FlexiCheck acts as a preprocessing module to FlexiDesign and helps in automatically filtering:
    • Dimension lines
    • Annotations and text
    • Cross hatching
    • Title blocks
